The Polygon (MATIC) and Ethereum (ETH) chains saw massive new user inflows in the first quarter, according to a report from blockchain data platform Flipside, reports CryptoPotato. As of March 27 (local time), the Polygon chain saw 12.3 million new users this year, while Ethereum saw 13.4 million new users, according to the report. That's about 70% of the total new user inflow for the major EVM chains in the first quarter. "The surge in DeFi transaction volume this year has led to a large influx of new users," the report said.
