BlackRock CEO "thinks ETH can launch ETF even if it's classified as a security

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink appeared on The Claman Countdown and said, "There are a lot of different opinions on whether Ethereum is a commodity or a security. "It's hard to talk about that, but I don't think it would be very harmful. I think you can launch an Ethereum ETF even if it is categorized as a security," he said, according to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, via X.

"I'm very optimistic about the long-term viability of Bitcoin. We're building a market with more liquidity and transparency now, which is something the past would never have predicted," he said. "The Bitcoin ETF has been the fastest growing in ETF history," he added.
