JPMorgan Discloses Bitcoin ETF Holdings

JPMorgan, the largest U.S. bank, has disclosed its holdings in Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to blockchain news outlet Cointelegraph. In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), JPMorgan revealed that it owns approximately $760,000 worth of shares in ProShares Bitcoin Stretch (BITO), BlackRock's IBIT, Fidelity's FBTC, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), and Bitwise Bitcoin ETFs.

JPMorgan also reported 25,021 shares of Bitcoin Depot, a crypto ATM provider. That's worth about $47,000. Overall, the holdings are not significant for the largest U.S. bank with $2.6 trillion in assets.

On the same day, Wells Fargo also reported its holdings in the Grayscale and ProShares Bitcoin ETFs. And in early May, Susquehanna International Group said it bought more than $1 billion in shares of crypto spot ETFs in the first quarter of 2024.
