Five ETH spot ETF issuers file Amendment 19b-4 filings, VanEck registers ticker
“In the last 25 minutes, five of the potential issuers of an Ethereum (ETH) spot ETF have filed amended 19b-4s (formal examination requests),” Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seifat told X. Fidelity, VanEck, Invesco-Galaxy, and Arc-21 Shares have reportedly filed with the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had previously asked the CBOE to amend its application for an ETH spot ETF.
Meanwhile, according to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, VanEck's Ethereum (ETH) spot ETF has been registered with the U.S. Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). The ticker is ETHV. DTCC registration does not necessarily mean that the ETF will be approved. Previously, Franklin Templeton's ETH spot ETF, EZET, was also registered with the DTCC.
