US SEC says SOL futures products will not be allowed to register

With the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) reportedly saying that it has no plans to offer SOL futures, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seifat said, “The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will not allow SOL futures to be registered as ‘Commodities Futures’ with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). They've already made that mistake with Bitcoin and Ethereum. I doubt the regulators will repeat that mistake again. It is very likely that there will be a backlash,” said X.
