Bitcoin Runes accounted for 81% of Bitcoin network transactions on Nov. 23rd

Bitcoin's Runes accounted for 81% of all transactions on the Bitcoin network on March 23, according to DeCrypt, citing data from Dune Analytics. According to the data, regular Bitcoin transactions accounted for 19% of the total, while BRC-20 tokens and Audience accounted for 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively. Meanwhile, Lunars' total fees exceeded 2075 BTC ($133 million).

Lunars is a protocol designed to create fungible tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain and was developed by Audience protocol creator Casey Rodarmor as an alternative to the BRC-20 token standard.
