A possible crypto 'SOL' spot ETF was discussed on CNBC

According to Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seifat, several panelists on CNBC discussed the possibility of a Solana (SOL) spot ETF following the approval of an Ethereum (ETH) spot ETF. “I think there is a higher probability of a spot ETF for SOL than for other cryptocurrencies if there is a CFTC-regulated futures market,” Seifat said. “However, the SEC has made it clear in its lawsuits against Coinbase, Kraken, and others that SOL is a security. If there is a spot ETF for SOL under the current regulatory framework, it will likely be after 2026.”
